Netflix Hires Actors to Pose as Its Canada Fans

This article talks about a Netflix program that seemed to back fire with media backlash.  It looks like it was an honest mistake and the people hired where just trying to create buzz for the brand but it shows the importance of a few things...

  1. Media Training for any involved in a marketing program.
  2. Taking the proper time to find quality staff and don’t just look at cost when hiring Brand Ambassadors.
  3. Take the time to train that staff.
  4. Don’t try to save money by cheating the laws of the land you are working in.
